I can't say I've always rolled gracefully from one season of my life into the next. There have been moments of kicking and screaming and full-fledged resistance to the change. Can you relate? I think most of us have been down that road.
And while it's important to be real with what we are feeling, there comes a time when we get to choose whether we want to keep feeling the resistance or move forward. In the act of moving forward, I think Mary Engelbreit's simple two-step life instructions sums up the process beautifully: Step 1. Put one foot in front of the other. Step 2. Repeat.
